It is very good to be able to start to communicate with her.

It has been a little over a week since Bama has gotten here.
She is doing surprisingly well.  She has stood up with lots of help, she
has swallowed, she has tons of facial expressions and is very bright!
Both Shuna and Ragnar, Bama’s husband, are working really hard and doing
a great job. They are helping Bama get well.  When I work with Bama in
the evening on communication she points to a symbol that says she is
happy.  I ask her if she is happy and she nodes yes.  She is also scared about her breathing/ choking.

It is very good to be able to start to communicate with her.

I found myself a few days ago just completely worn out and fell asleep
outside by a stump. I am not even doing that much. I am pleased that
Ragnar has hired some very helpful and thoughtful people to lend a helping hand.

I am guessing we will need more help as time goes on and Bama will need more PT.

We are very lucky to have this opportunity and it falls right within our values.

This encourages hope, that we can make a difference, that what we do matters.

Love you Shuna.I am thankful for this opportunity.
