Hamartia, Hubris, Catharsis and Tragedy

The ancient Greeks were interesting people.

What is my hamartia, my tragic error or flaw.

Hubris, do I have excessive pride?

Will I have a downfall full of misery and suffering, a tragic end due
to my hamartia.

Is it necessary to have a tragic figure to provide a cathartic experience.

Is Jesus a tragic figure?  Does his hamartia lead to a tragic end?

I would say he is and he accepts his role and such a strange alchemy occurs

when he accepts this role he changes the world for thousands of years.

Is tragedy helpful, good.  I don’t know.  I believe our experience is baffling.

I believe that there is a road map to try to understand our predicament.

I believe the Christian philosophy is an answer to the Greco Roman quandary.

How can you move through the world without knowing what is right and wrong?

I am thankful to have this opportunity.
